About us
Production and commercialization
Maderas de la Mesopotamia S.A. is an industrial company, specialized in the production and trade of wood pellets. The manufactured products meet the highest standards of international quality and for that purpose we use the best available technology.
Where are we
The production plant is located in the Puerto Iguazú Free Zone, Province of Misiones, Argentina. Business and administrative offices are located in the City of Buenos Aires.

What is a pellet?
Wood pellets are a solid biofuelmade from sawdust and wood shaving. It has a cylindrical shape, normally 6 or 8 mm diameter and 15-30 mm long. Our wood pellets are the result of waste valorizationcoming from the wood industry from the north area of Misiones, Argentina.

Start
Every day we receive dry wood chips and sawdust from our suppliers. The same are collected in our deposit of almost 1,000m2 covered.
Crushed
The biomass is transported from a moving floor to a crusher mill to finish in a silo of storage of more than 70m3.
Extraction
From the storage silo the sawdust is automatically extracted and then passed through the pelletizing presses, where the pellets are manufactured.
Cooling
By the pressure and friction generated in the pelletizing process, the pellets leave with a high temperature for such reason they are transported to a cooler in order to cool them to harden.
End
At the exit of the cooler there is a squeegee separating the fines from the wood pellets, and the "qualified" pellets are taken to the packaging sector, where according to the requirement end in Big Bags or in bags of 15kg the brand Frontier Wood Pellets.
SERVICES
The installed production capacity is 25,000 tons a yearand due to the geographical location we are able to supplylarge areas, like Southern Brazil or Europe.

- In our plan(FOB/FCA Zona Franca Puerto Iguazu, Misiones Argentina).
- In the place that the Client needs / demands (CIF, C&F).
- In Brazil and Uruguay we have distributors, so you do not need to be an importer.
